Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Fabelia for using the Fabelia mobile app and the getfabelia.com website. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Fabelia.

Who we are

Fabelia is operated by Volkan Eren, a sole proprietor registered in Türkiye (tax office: Düden). Contact: info@getfabelia.com. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Fabelia" mean the operator; "you" means the account holder.

What Fabelia is

Fabelia is a library of short retellings of public-domain stories — fairy tales, folk tales and classic short stories — each editorially shortened to about 5–8 minutes and voiced with AI narration in Turkish, English, Russian and Spanish. Narration is pre-recorded audio delivered with the app; nothing you do during playback is sent anywhere. Some material is original writing created for Fabelia. The catalogue and its features may change over time.

Your account

• You need an account (an email address and password) to use Fabelia. Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account is for one person. Do not share an account or create multiple accounts to gain extra credits.
• At sign-up you choose a reading level: younger reader or adult reader. If an account is used by a child, it must be created and managed by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on the child's behalf and is responsible for the child's use.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete. Deletion is permanent and removes your personal data (see the Privacy Policy).

Credits and subscriptions

Fabelia is free to start. Access to stories works through credits and an optional subscription.

One credit, one story, for good

Spending one credit unlocks a story permanently for your account — in every language and in both listening and Read-It-Yourself modes. There is no separate charge for listening versus reading, and you never pay again for a story you have unlocked.

Daily credits (adult accounts)

Adult-reader accounts receive a fixed number of free credits each day, reset at midnight, plus a small sequential bonus pool that regenerates on a timer. Unused daily credits do not carry over.

Daily allowance (younger-reader accounts)

Younger-reader accounts get a fixed daily allowance with no timers or energy mechanics.

Credit packs

You can buy one-time credit packs. Purchased credits do not expire. Larger packs cost less per credit.

Subscription

An optional subscription (US$4.99 per month, with regional pricing set automatically by the store) gives unlimited access to the catalogue and the ability to download stories for offline listening. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.

Billing, renewal and cancellation

All payments, renewals, price changes and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms — we do not process payments and cannot see your card details. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. To request a refund, use the store's own refund process.

Parental gate

Every purchase attempt — on any account, regardless of reading level — is protected by a parental gate: a freshly generated arithmetic question that must be answered to continue.

Credits and subscription access have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not redeemable for money except where required by law.

How you may use the content

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Fabelia and to listen to and read the stories for your own private, non-commercial use. You may not:

• copy, record, download (except through the app's own offline feature), redistribute, broadcast or publicly perform the narration or story text;
• resell or share access to your account or unlocked stories;
• use bots, scripts or automated means to access the service, or scrape or harvest content;
• try to bypass or manipulate the credit system, the parental gate, or usage limits — including by using multiple accounts or devices;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code or the audio files, except to the limited extent the law allows;
• use Fabelia in any way that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to the service or other users.

Offline downloads are licensed only for the duration of an active subscription and are stored encrypted on your device; they stop working when the subscription ends or the app is removed.

The Fabelia name, logo, app design, retelling texts, question sets and audio recordings are protected by intellectual-property rights held by us or our licensors. The underlying classic stories are in the public domain; our particular abridgements, translations and recordings are not.

Acceptable use and enforcement

If you break these terms — in particular by abusing the credit system or attempting to farm free credits across accounts or devices — we may limit, suspend or close your account, and remove access to credits obtained through abuse. Where possible we will tell you why. You can appeal by writing to info@getfabelia.com.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Fabelia running well but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove stories, features or plans, and may suspend the service for maintenance. If we discontinue Fabelia entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the app and, where a paid subscription is affected, follow the store's rules on that.

Disclaimers

The stories are abridged retellings of older works, provided for reading practice and enjoyment. AI narration may contain occasional mispronunciations or artefacts. Fabelia is not an educational assessment tool, and nothing in it is professional advice. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under Turkish consumer-protection law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control, and our total liability for any claim relating to Fabelia is limited to the amount you paid us (through the app stores) in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — for example if plans or features change. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Fabelia after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply. Disputes may be brought before the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts that have jurisdiction.

Fabelia nedir

Fabelia, telifsiz (kamu malı) hikâyelerin — masallar, halk hikâyeleri ve klasik kısa öyküler — kısa yeniden anlatımlarından oluşan bir kütüphanedir. Her biri editoryal olarak yaklaşık 5–8 dakikaya kısaltılır ve Türkçe, İngilizce, Rusça ve İspanyolca AI seslendirmeyle sunulur. Seslendirme önceden kaydedilmiş sestir; oynatma sırasında yaptıklarınız hiçbir yere gönderilmez. Bazı içerikler Fabelia için üretilmiş özgün metinlerdir. Katalog ve özellikleri zamanla değişebilir.

Hesabınız

• Fabelia'yı kullanmak için bir hesaba (e-posta adresi ve parola) ihtiyacınız vardır. Giriş bilgilerinizi güvende tutun; hesabınızdaki etkinlikten siz sorumlusunuz.
• Bir hesap bir kişiye aittir. Fazladan kredi elde etmek için hesap paylaşmayın veya birden fazla hesap açmayın.
• Kayıt sırasında bir okuma seviyesi seçersiniz: küçük okuyucu veya yetişkin okuyucu. Bir hesabı çocuk kullanıyorsa, hesap bir ebeveyn veya vasi tarafından oluşturulmalı ve yönetilmelidir; bu kişi koşulları çocuk adına kabul eder ve çocuğun kullanımından sorumludur.
• Hesabınızı istediğiniz zaman Ayarlar → Hesap → Sil yolundan silebilirsiniz. Silme kalıcıdır ve kişisel verilerinizi kaldırır (bkz. Gizlilik Politikası).

Krediler ve abonelik

Fabelia'ya başlamak ücretsizdir. Hikâyelere erişim krediler ve isteğe bağlı bir abonelikle çalışır.

Bir kredi, bir hikâye, kalıcı

Bir kredi harcamak, bir hikâyeyi hesabınız için kalıcı olarak açar — her dilde ve hem dinleme hem Kendin Oku modunda. Dinlemek ile okumak için ayrı ücret yoktur; açtığınız bir hikâye için bir daha ödeme yapmazsınız.

Günlük krediler (yetişkin hesaplar)

Yetişkin okuyucu hesapları her gün gece yarısı sıfırlanan sabit sayıda ücretsiz kredi ve zamanlayıcıyla yenilenen küçük, sıralı bir bonus havuzu alır. Kullanılmayan günlük krediler devretmez.

Günlük hak (küçük okuyucu hesapları)

Küçük okuyucu hesapları, zamanlayıcı veya enerji mekaniği olmadan sabit bir günlük hak alır.

Kredi paketleri

Tek seferlik kredi paketleri satın alabilirsiniz. Satın alınan krediler süresiz geçerlidir. Büyük paketlerde kredi başına maliyet düşer.

Abonelik

İsteğe bağlı abonelik (ayda 4,99 ABD doları; bölgesel fiyatlandırma mağaza tarafından otomatik ayarlanır) katalogun tamamına sınırsız erişim ve hikâyeleri çevrimdışı dinlemek üzere indirme imkânı verir. Siz iptal edene kadar her ay otomatik yenilenir.

Ücretlendirme, yenileme ve iptal

Tüm ödemeler, yenilemeler, fiyat değişiklikleri ve iadeler Apple App Store veya Google Play tarafından kendi koşullarına göre yürütülür — biz ödeme almayız ve kart bilgilerinizi göremeyiz. Aboneliği App Store veya Google Play hesap ayarlarınızdan yönetin veya iptal edin; iptal, mevcut fatura döneminin sonunda geçerli olur. İade talebi için mağazanın kendi iade sürecini kullanın.

Ebeveyn kapısı

Her satın alma denemesi — okuma seviyesinden bağımsız olarak her hesapta — bir ebeveyn kapısıyla korunur: devam etmek için yanıtlanması gereken, o an üretilmiş bir aritmetik soru.

Kredilerin ve abonelik erişiminin nakdî değeri yoktur, hesaplar arasında aktarılamaz ve yasa gerektirmedikçe paraya çevrilemez.

İçeriği nasıl kullanabilirsiniz

Fabelia'yı kullanmanız ve hikâyeleri kendi özel, ticari olmayan kullanımınız için dinleyip okumanız amacıyla size kişisel, münhasır olmayan, devredilemez bir lisans veririz. Şunları yapamazsınız:

• seslendirmeyi veya hikâye metnini kopyalamak, kaydetmek, indirmek (uygulamanın kendi çevrimdışı özelliği hariç), yeniden dağıtmak, yayınlamak veya kamuya açık şekilde sunmak;
• hesabınıza veya açtığınız hikâyelere erişimi yeniden satmak ya da paylaşmak;
• hizmete erişmek için bot, betik veya otomatik araçlar kullanmak, içeriği toplamak veya kazımak;
• kredi sistemini, ebeveyn kapısını veya kullanım sınırlarını — birden fazla hesap ya da cihaz kullanmak dâhil — atlatmaya veya manipüle etmeye çalışmak;
• yasanın izin verdiği sınırlı ölçü dışında tersine mühendislik yapmak, kaynak kodunu veya ses dosyalarını çıkarmaya çalışmak;
• Fabelia'yı hukuka aykırı, hak ihlali oluşturan veya hizmete ya da diğer kullanıcılara zarar veren herhangi bir şekilde kullanmak.

Çevrimdışı indirmeler yalnızca aktif abonelik süresince lisanslıdır ve cihazınızda şifreli saklanır; abonelik bitince veya uygulama kaldırılınca çalışmaz.

Fabelia adı, logosu, uygulama tasarımı, yeniden anlatım metinleri, soru havuzları ve ses kayıtları bize veya lisans verenlerimize ait fikrî mülkiyet haklarıyla korunur. Temel klasik hikâyeler kamu malıdır; bizim özgün kısaltmalarımız, çevirilerimiz ve kayıtlarımız değildir.

Kabul edilebilir kullanım ve yaptırım

Bu koşulları ihlal ederseniz — özellikle kredi sistemini kötüye kullanarak veya hesaplar/cihazlar arasında ücretsiz kredi biriktirmeye çalışarak — hesabınızı kısıtlayabilir, askıya alabilir veya kapatabilir ve kötüye kullanımla elde edilen kredilere erişimi kaldırabiliriz. Mümkün olduğunda nedenini bildiririz. info@getfabelia.com adresine yazarak itiraz edebilirsiniz.

Erişilebilirlik ve değişiklikler

Fabelia'yı iyi çalışır tutmayı hedefliyoruz ancak her zaman erişilebilir veya hatasız olacağını taahhüt etmiyoruz. Hikâye, özellik veya planları ekleyebilir, değiştirebilir ya da kaldırabilir ve bakım için hizmeti askıya alabiliriz. Fabelia'yı tamamen sonlandırırsak, uygulamada makul bir süre önceden bildiririz ve ücretli abonelik etkileniyorsa mağazanın bu konudaki kurallarına uyarız.

Sorumluluk reddi

Hikâyeler, eski eserlerin okuma pratiği ve keyif için hazırlanmış kısaltılmış yeniden anlatımlarıdır. AI seslendirmede zaman zaman telaffuz hataları veya bozulmalar olabilir. Fabelia bir eğitim ölçme aracı değildir ve içindeki hiçbir şey profesyonel tavsiye niteliği taşımaz. Yasanın izin verdiği ölçüde hizmet, hiçbir garanti verilmeksizin "olduğu gibi" ve "mevcut olduğu şekliyle" sunulur.

Sorumluluğun sınırlandırılması

Bu koşullardaki hiçbir hüküm, yasayla sınırlanamayan sorumluluğu — ihmalden kaynaklanan ölüm veya bedensel zarar, dolandırıcılık ya da tüketici mevzuatı kapsamındaki haklarınız dâhil — sınırlamaz. Buna tabi olmak kaydıyla, dolaylı veya sonuçsal zararlardan ya da makul kontrolümüz dışındaki etkenlerden kaynaklanan veri kaybından sorumlu değiliz ve Fabelia'ya ilişkin herhangi bir talep için toplam sorumluluğumuz, talepten önceki 12 ayda (uygulama mağazaları aracılığıyla) bize ödediğiniz tutarla sınırlıdır.

Bu koşullardaki değişiklikler

Bu koşulları güncelleyebiliriz — örneğin planlar veya özellikler değişirse. Yukarıdaki tarihi değiştirir, önemli değişiklikleri uygulamada bildiririz. Bir değişiklikten sonra Fabelia'yı kullanmaya devam etmeniz, güncellenmiş koşulları kabul ettiğiniz anlamına gelir.

Uygulanacak hukuk

Bu koşullar Türkiye Cumhuriyeti hukukuna tabidir. İkamet ettiğiniz ülkenin emredici tüketici koruma kuralları saklıdır. Uyuşmazlıklar, yetkili tüketici hakem heyetleri ve tüketici mahkemeleri önüne götürülebilir.
